Public Health-Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) is seeking authorization for the execution of a lease for space in the Villager Mall, 2312 S Park St, Madison, WI (former UW Partnership Space) in The Village on Park located at 2300 South Park Street. This space will be an integral part of the PHMDC COVID-19 response, including COVID-19 testing and related matters.
The Community Development Authority (CDA) of the City of Madison currently owns the former UW Partnership (2312 S. Park St.) suite PHMDC is proposing renting in The Village on Park. The cost of this space is $1750 per month plus utilities. The initial term of the lease will be for 12 months beginning July 27, 2020 and ending on July 27, 2021. Upon agreement of both parties, the Lease may be renewed for one (1) subsequent one (1) year terms. Rent during the renewal term shall be $1803 per month plus utilities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County authorizes Public Health-Madison and Dane County to enter into an agreement with Community Development Authority to fund leasing of space in the at Village on Park - 2312 S. Park St (former UW Partnership Space), and authorizes the Director to sign the agreement and option to renew.
