Accepting storm sewer and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract 6001 Mineral Point Road / 6102 Odana Road CSM, Private Contract No. 7878 (19th AD)

Body

WHEREAS, the GCDR Research, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of storm sewer and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  6001 Mineral Point Road / 6102 Odana Road CSM.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said storm sewer and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

 

2. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $56,034.

 

 

3. That the street improvements, including the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     Genomic Drive from Research Park Blvd to North Line of Lot 1

 

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 11523  $206,604.48 for a useful life of 40 years.
