Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) was previously awarded the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) to establish an overdose fatality review partnership in Dane County.  Due to the timeline of spending the grant funding, and the needs to support implementation of the case review process, it is being proposed to move a portion of the grant funding from supplies to personnel.

 

The transfer of funding within the OFR grant will address the following grant objectives:

                     Data abstraction and establishing an OFR case review process.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts of Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant as outlined below, for the purpose of establishing an overdose case review process.
