Establishing Small Cell Permit Fee (Citywide)

In accordance with Section 10.053 of the Madison General Ordinances, the City Engineer will administer a permit for installation of small cell facilities within the right-of-way and shall establish the fee amount. Federal and State laws limit the amount of the fee the City can place on these permits. The fee for the small cell permit shall be set at $100 per application. This fee to cover costs associated with reviewing the application for compliance with the design guidelines and public safety requirements established within those guidelines. Permit fees, once paid, are not refundable, even if the permit is revoked.
