Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement EXCEPT Blue Moon Drive) constructed by Private Contract in Birchwood Point - Phase 3, Private Contract No. 2414. (9th AD)

WHEREAS, MREC VH Birchwood Point, LLC has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in: Birchwood Point Phase 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1. That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted.
2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA
A) Total Contract Value (including Engineering

B) Contributions in Aid of Construction:
a) Public Sewer Components $ 123,527.80
b) Sewer Laterals $ -0-
C) Investments in Capital (MSU Share) $ -0-

3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A” $176,471.90.
4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement (EXPECT Blue Moon Drive), on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:
• Rustling Birch Road from Sugar Maple Lane to Outlot 5 Alley
• Meandering Way from West line of Lot 137 to NE line of Lot 26
• Arbor Mist Pass from West line of Lot 152 to E line of Lot 191
• Sugar Maple Lane from Rustling Birch Road to S line of Lot 32
• Outlot 5 Alley from Rustling Birch Road to Meandering Way
• Outlot 7 Alley from Rustling Birch Road to Meandering Way
• Blue Moon Drive from Arbor Mist Pass to S line of Lot 173 (INCLUDES bituminous pavement)
The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 10505 $ 377,520.13 for a useful life of 40 years.
