I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.

 

 

COMMITTEE ON THE ENVIRONMENT

 

DEA LARSEN CONVERSE (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Larsen Converse currently serves as a government and policy liaison at Clean Lakes Alliance. She is on the board of the Friends of Starkweather Creek and has previously volunteered with O’Keeffe Middle School, League of Women Voters, Sierra Club and Common Cause. Ms. Larsen Converse succeeds Katie L. Barikmo.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-16-2019

 

 

DISABILITY RIGHTS COMMISSION

 

WILL J. RINGLAND (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Ringland is a quality assurance manager at Epic Systems, working on accessibility. He served as the chair of the Epic Accessibility Steering Committee. Mr. Ringland succeeds Stephanie A. Harrill.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2021

 

 

URBAN DESIGN COMMISSION

 

CHRISTOPHER M. SINA (20th A.D) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Graduate Landscape Architect. Mr. Sina is a landscape architect with the Bruce Company of Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and a former member of the Olbrich Botanical Society. Mr. Sina succeeds John A. Harrington.

TERM EXPIRES: 6-30-2019

 

 

VENDING OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

 

JACK T. THURNBLAD (15th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Technical Advisor-Non-Voting. Mr. Thurnblad is a financial director and member of Madmin, LLC, a consulting group that handles finance, marketing and personnel development. Madmin, LLC works primarily with Ian’s Pizza restaurants. Mr. Thurnblad has an ownership stake in Ian’s Pizza on State, LLC and State Line Distillery. He succeeds Peter J. McElvanna.

TERM EXPIRES: 6-1-2019
