North Star Park Master Plan Amendment

Additional land (approximately 4 acres) was dedicated as public parkland as part of the North Addition to Grandview Comons final plat in 2014. This parcel expands the existing North Star Park, which was dedicated as public parkland as part of the Grandview Commons final plat in 2002. North Star Park has an adopted master plan, approved in 2006 by the Board of Park commissioners. This master plan amendment considered the additional land added to the park in 2014 in conjunction with the master plan approved in 2006. The Master Plan process included two public input meetings, and online and paper surveys in accordance with the adopted Master Plan Policy.
