Report of the Mayor submitting appointments to the Madison Food Policy Council.

 

Body

I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.

 

 

MADISON FOOD POLICY COUNCIL

 

GARRETT P. PETERSON (18th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Mr. Peterson is a farm director at Community GroundWorks, where he is working on examining food access issues with Troy Farms CSA Model. He succeeds Alexia M. Kulwiec.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2020

 

JENNIFER N. LAM (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Lam is a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Science in food systems work. She previously worked as the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a school nutrition consultant. She succeeds Michael M. Bell.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2018

 

REGINA M. VIDAVER (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Vidaver serves as Section Chief of Chronic Disease Prevention & Cancer Control at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. She is involved with several organizations, including the MMSD Advanced Learner Parent Advisory Council and Sigma Delta Epsilon-Graduate Women in Science. She succeeds Anne Reynolds.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2020
