Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution awards the contract for North Blair Street at a total estimated cost of $1,600,000. The adopted 2017 budget for Engineering-Major Streets contains the project's budget authority within the Reconstruction Streets capital program (MUNIS 11470), which was added to the program budget in 2017 via adoption of resolution #46519. Estimated project costs will be assigned to associated agencies as follows:
Major Streets - $940,000
Sewer Utility - $360,000
Water Utility - $300,000

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
