Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution awards the contract for the construction of City View Drive on the east side of Madison for improved neighborhood connectivity. In the adopted 2017 capital budget the project is established with $3 million of funding via Special Assessments (MUNIS 10429). The total estimated cost of the project is $1,074,610 with funding assigned to the associated agencies as follows:
Major Streets - $614,620
Stormwater Utility - $442,090
Sewer Utility - $17,900

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
