Private Contract, No City Funds Are Required
Title
Accepting storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract in The Meadowlands - Phase 3, Private Contract No. 1968.
Body
WHEREAS, Great Neighborhoods North, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in: The Meadowlands - Phase 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1. That said storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted.
2. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A” $7,492.10.
3. That the street improvements, including the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:
• Reston Heights Drive from the west line of Lot 69 to the west line of Lot 24.
• Public Alley - Outlot 13 (Milwaukee St. - Reston Heights Dr. Alley) from the west line of Lot 208 to the west line of Lot 218.
The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 53B1968, Munis 10026, $134,554.15 for a useful life of 40 years.
