Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 Capital Budget the Water Utility budgeted $3,460,000 for the reconstruction of the Lake View Reservoir on the north side of the City (MUNIS 10439).  The project is established with sufficient budget authority for the planned work in the proposed resolution.  Funding is provided by revenue bonds.

 

The proposed resolution approves plan documents at a total estimated cost of $923,000.  That total cost is split amongst agencies as follows:

 

Engineering Major Streets - $40,000

Stormwater Utilty - $55,000

Water Utility - $828,000

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Lakeview Reservoir Pipeline Improvements Phase 2, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
