Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget Fleet Services budgeted $2.87 million for the design and construction of a new comprehensive Fleet facility located at Nakoosa Trail (MUNIS 10305).  The contract in this proposed resolution is for work that has been sufficiently budgeted in 2016.  Funding is provided by GO borrowing.

 

The proposed resolution awards the contract at an estimated cost of $102,520.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
