Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget Engineering - Facilities Management has budgeted $757,000 for the miscellaneous improvements to the city’s fire stations in the Fire Stations Improvements program (MUNIS 10560).  The minor project for the Fire Station #9 roof replacement is established with sufficient budget authority for the work in the proposed resolution (MUNIS 11366).  Funding for this project is provided by GO borrowing.

 

The proposed resolution authorizes bids to be received for the planned work at an estimated cost of $168,000.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Madison Fire Department Station #9 Roof Replacement, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
