WHEREAS: Katie has contributed her sense of community and service to the Northside through her consistent participation and leadership on the Brentwood-Northport Neighborhood Resource Team for 20 years; and,

WHEREAS, Northside residents and others who use the library will miss Katie, and a good-bye party is planned by the Friends of Lakeview Library on June 11th,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council of Madison honor Katie Scharf for her dedication to the people and the City of Madison and wish her well in her retirement.
