Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget Engineering - Bike and Pedestrian has budgeted $680,000 for bicycle related improvements throughout the city including the resurfacing of existing bike paths (MUNIS 10138). Minor project for the Demetral Park path (MUNIS 10460) is established for the work associated with the proposed resolution. Additionally, Parks division’s minor project for Demetral Field improvement (MUNIS 10465) is established with authorized budget authority for their portions of the cost in the proposed resolution. Funding is provided by GO borrowing.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents at an estimated cost of $386,000 with the estimated split being $338,000 for Engineering and $48,000 for Parks.

Title
Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Demetral Park Path.
Body
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Demetral Park Path, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
