Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget, Engineering Major Streets has budgeted $3.7 million for the Royster Clark Development Phase 2 project (MUNIS 10546) to construct the street and sidewalk infrastructure required at the development site. Funding for this project is a combination of TID 44 proceeds and State sources.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the 2016 traffic calming costs at Dempsey Rd. for the Royster Phase 2 project at a cost of $32,000.

Whereas, Legistar File No. 42342, Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertsie and receive bids for Local Road Traffic Calming & Arterial Pedestrian Enhancements - 2016, was considered by the Board of Public Works on April 6, 2016 and was forwarded to the Common Council with a recommendation of approval, and
Whereas, on April 19, 2016 the Common Council approved Legistar File No. 42342 and that approval excluded traffic calming improvements on Dempsey Rd, and
Whereas, as part of the motion to approve Legistar File No. 42342, the Common Council referred the traffic calming improvements on Dempsey Rd to the Pedestrian, Bike and Motor Vehicle Commission, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Dempsey Rd Traffic Calming, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
