Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution requires approval of plans and specifications and authorization of the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for installation of sun shelters at five park locations. The total project cost is $315,000. $63,000 of project costs will be funded by the Cardinal Glenn Improvements project (account no. 17423-51-140); $252,000 will be funded by the Shelters Junction Owl Worthington project (account no. 17433-51-140). This project is jointly funded by the two minor projects in order to group all sun shelter improvements under a single contract. Both projects are minors to the major project Park Land Improvements (no. 17421). Funds are included in the Parks Division’s 2016 Adopted Capital Budget.

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for 2016 Parks Division Sun Shelters Installation, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
