Title
Authorizing the execution of an Underground Fiber Optic Cable Easement to the County of Dane across a portion of Henry Vilas Zoo, located at 702 South Randall Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, the County of Dane (“Dane County”) is installing new fiber optic cable facilities at Henry Vilas Zoo, located at 702 South Randall Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the new fiber optic cable facilities will be part of an upgrade of the telecommunications system serving the Henry Vilas Zoo; and
WHEREAS, Dane County has requested an underground fiber optic cable easement, across a portion of Henry Vilas Zoo, for their new fiber optic cable facilities; and
WHEREAS, City of Madison Parks Division and Office of Real Estate Services staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Fiber Optic Cable Easement to the County of Dane across a portion of Henry Vilas Zoo, located at 702 South Randall Avenue, legally described as follows:
A strip of land, ten (10) feet in width, located in part of the Northeast and Northwest Quarters of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 07 North, Range 09 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, the centerline of said strip is more fully described as follows:
The right of way shall be located five (5) feet on the right side and five (5) feet on the left side of the centerline of facilities as constructed. The facilities will be located approximately as set forth in the drawing attached hereto as Exhibit A and dated May 13, 2015.
