I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules. Statement of Interest forms are on file where applicable.


AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION

ANGELA Y. FITZGERALD (5th A.D) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Fitzgerald is a senior researcher at the National Council on Crime & Delinquency. In addition, she serves as the Director/Coordinator of Dane Dances!. Ms. Fitzgerald succeeds Michael M. Johnson.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-18-2017

EMILY E. KUHN (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Kuhn is a project manager at the Social Security Administration. She has been involved with several local organizations, including the Interagency Council on Homelessness. Ms. Kuhn succeeds Nu Lee.

EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE

LEANDREA VERNON (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Child Care Service Consumer. Ms. Vernon is a higher education professional at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She has significant experience with early childhood programs including involvement in the ChildCard Tuition Assistance Program. Ms. Vernon succeeds Nicole K. Anderson.
TERM EXPIRES: 9-30-2016


PERSONNEL BOARD

GARY D. MITCHELL (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Organized Labor Representative. Mr. Mitchell is the president of AFSCME Local 2412 as well as a vice-president of the AFSCME International Union. He succeeds Darold D. Lowe.
