PREAMBLE
 
The City of Madison and the Village of McFarland have scheduled the resurfacing of Marsh Road from Siggelkow Road to 1500 feet north of Roanne Lane.  A portion of the Marsh Road Right of way currently is split between the Village of McFarland and the City of Madison. The Segment of the Street north of Roanne Lane will be widened to 30 feet to install bike lanes on both sides of the road and will be resurfaced with new  asphalt pavement under a City Contract. The Village of McFarland and the City of Madison will each be responsible for the cost to resurface their share of Marsh Road.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
 
1 - That the plans and specifications for Marsh Road Resurfacing - 2015 are hereby approved.
 
2 - That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
 
3 - That the Mayor and the City Clerk are herby authorized to execute an agreement with the Village of McFarland for cost sharing the project.
 
4 - That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
