Fiscal Note
The 2015 adopted operating budget of the Building Inspection Division authorizes a wage expense for the Director position of $116,622, plus benefit expense. The new Employment Agreement provides for an annual wage of $119,564, effective April 12, 2015. In 2015, the overall wage and benefit appropriation for the Division can accommodate the relatively small additional expense in 2015, so no additional appropriation is required. Future budgets will include the additional expenditure authority, subject to approval by the Common Council.

Submitting the appointment of George C. Hank III for confirmation of a five-year term as the Building Inspection Division Director.
Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed George C. Hank III to the position of Building Inspection Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hank III.
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Hank III's appointment to the position of Building Inspection Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hank III.
