Re-adjusting the work timeline for the Ad Hoc Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee and Landmarks Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Madison created the Ad Hoc Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee (Resolution File # 33846) to provide a discussion forum that brings together important perspectives to help address complex issues addressed by the Landmarks Commission draft amendments to the Landmarks Ordinance; and
 
WHEREAS, that Resolution provided a timeline requiring that a report containing its considerations and recommendations be sent to the Common Council for Phase 1 no later than October 7, 2014; and
 
WHEREAS, Resolution File # 35631 amended that date to December 24, 2014; and
 
WHEREAS, due to the scope of the issues under consideration, the Ad Hoc Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee did not complete its work on Phase 1 by December 24, 2014;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council adjusts the work timeline for the Ad Hoc Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee for the completion of Phase 1 as follows: The Ad Hoc Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee shall issue a report containing its considerations and recommendations to the Common Council for Phase 1 no later than April 1, 2015.
