PREAMBLE

The City is proposing to reconstruct McKee Rd / County Trunk Highway PD (CTH PD) from Meriter Way to Maple Grove Road in 2017. The consultant’s services will include traffic modeling of current and future traffic volumes, the completion of preliminary plans and the Environmental Assessment report and Final Plans & Specifications.

Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and recommends the design engineering contract be awarded to K.L. Engineering.

The City of Madison, City of Verona and Dane County are all participating in the design and shall cost share the design engineering contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and agreement with K.L. Engineering for design engineering services for McKee Rd / CTH PD, Meriter Way to Maple Grove Road, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement(s) with Dane County and The City of Verona for cost sharing on the project. Separate agreements may be ex...
