Title
Approving a revised Certified Survey Map of of property owned by Weir Minerals, Inc. located at 2701 S. Stoughton Road and 4501 Tompkins Drive; 16th Ald. Dist.
 
Body
WHEREAS on March 19, 2013, the Common Council adopted Resolution 13-00223 (ID 29436) approving a Certified Survey Map of of property owned by Weir Minerals, Inc. located at 2701 S. Stoughton Road, 4501 Tompkins Drive and 2918 Progress Drive; and
 
WHEREAS by Wisconsin Statute Section 236.34 a Certified Survey Map shall be offered for record within 12 months of its last approval (6 months at the time of this approval) or the approval is null and void; and
 
WHEREAS Weir Minerals, Inc. has duly filed for approval by the Plan Commission, its Secretary or his/her designee, as provided for in Section 16.23(5)(g) of Madison General Ordinances a revised Certified Survey Map of its property located at 2701 S. Stoughton Road and 4501 Tompkins Drive, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin; and
 
WHEREAS Chapter 236, Wisconsin Statutes requires that the Madison Common Council approve any dedications proposed or required as part of the proposed division of the lands contained on said Certified Survey Map;
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said revised Certified Survey Map, bond and subdivision contract, subsequent affidavits of correction, parkland acquisition documents, easement or right-of-way release or procurement documents or any other related document or documents as deemed necessary by the Secretary of the Plan Commission in accordance with the approval of said Certified Survey Map are hereby approved by the Madison Common Council.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Madison are hereby authorized to sign the above mentioned documents related to this Certified Survey Map.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if found necessary by the City Engineer, in consultation with Planning Division staff, if wetland or environmental corridor boundaries need to be altered as a result of this proposal, the Common Council authorizes City staff to pursue approval of the necessary amendments with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission and recognizes and adopts the revised boundaries for any wetland or environmental corridor within the Central Urban Service Area as it relates to this land division.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all dedications included in this Certified Survey Map or required as a condition of approval of this Certified Survey Map be and are hereby accepted by the City of Madison.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Division is authorized to reflect the recorded Certified Survey Map in the Comprehensive Plan and any applicable neighborhood plans.
