The additional wage expense in 2014 is an estimated $980, plus $353 for fringe benefit expense, or a total additional expense of $1,333. The Parking Utility will manage its salary savings in 2014 to accommodate the additional expense, so no additional appropriation is required. The full, annualized future expense (at Step 5) is $3,666 for wages, plus $1,320 for fringe benefits, or a total expense of $4,986, which will need to be included in future operating budgets, subject to Common Council approval.

Recreate the 1.0 FTE position of Parking Operations Supervisor, #1314 (occupied by D. Wills), in CG18-08, as a Parking Operations Supervisor in 18-09 in the Parking Utility budget. Reallocate the respective incumbent of position #1314 to the new position.

Resolution that the 1.0 FTE position of Parking Operations Supervisor, #1314 (occupied by D. Wills), in CG18-08, shall be recreated as a Parking Operations Supervisor, CG18-09 in the permanent salary detail of the Parking Utility Division budget. The respective incumbent of position #1314 shall be reallocated to the new position.
