I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointment. Committee applications for mayoral appointment are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file where applicable.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION
SUSAN M. SCHMITZ (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Schmitz serves as President of Downtown Madison, Inc. She is a member of the downtown Rotary club and has served on numerous committees and boards over the years, including the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Transit and Parking Commission and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Schmitz succeeds David A. Bolles.

ROBERT VAN KAMPEN (12th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Transit & Parking Commission Member or Citizen. Mr. Van Kampen is employed with the Wisconsin Rescue Mission. He succeeds Kenneth M. Streit.
