Title
Correcting a clerical error in RES-14-00386 regarding the name of The Heibing Group, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, on May 21, 2014 the Common Council adopted RES-14-00386, File ID No. 33599, authorizing the City to execute a service contract for a 1 year term of service provided by Heibing Inc. for marketing and advertising of Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, it has been subsequently discovered that the full and correct name of the of the party contracting with the City is "The Heibing Group, Inc.", and that the resolution inadvertently referred to the party as "Heibing Inc.", which was a clerical error, and
WHEREAS, the management of Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center supports this revision of RES-14-00386, to correctly reflect the full and correct name of the party which is to provide services to the City,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that upon adoption of this resolution, the previously enacted RES-14-00386 hereby amended to correct the clerical errors contained therein, specifically that all references to "Heibing Inc" are amended to "The Heibing Group, Inc.", and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to RES-14-00386, as amended by this resolution, the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute a service contract , for a one year term for marketing and advertising Services from The Heibing Group, Inc. at a price not to exceed $100,000.
