The Trust currently has a value of approximately $540,000 an is invested by U.S. Bank as the trustee. The City currently has approximately $375,000 in previously distributed funds that should be used over the next three years and will be the source for the projects below.
Yahara River Parkway Funding $5,000 in 2013; $5,000 in 2014.
This project continues historic landscape restoration efforts along the Yahara River Parkway. This focuses on supporting volunteer efforts.
Hoyt Park Improvements $40,000 2013.
This project includes fencing and playground improvements.
Parks Beautification Project $50,000 2013 & 2014.
This project includes Olbrich staff working with Park Operations staff to enhance select landscape areas in high visibility parks and reservable areas.
Playground and Accessibility Improvements $50,000 in 2013; $50,000 in 2014.
This project includes using Olin Trust funding to aide in funding the $1.1M in planned playground improvements in 2014.
