Fiscal Note
The position is currently vacant and budgeted in the CDBG 2013 adopted operating budget at $82,898, plus benefit expense. As such, there is sufficient funding in 2013 to accommodate a hire at the reclassified level. In future budgets, additional salary funding expense of an estimated $8,094, plus marginal benefit costs of about $1,600, will need to be included, subject to Common Council approval. Most, or all, of the additional required funds will be supported by grant revenues, so the impact on the City levy should be minimal.
