Title
Creating Section 8.32 of the Madison General Ordinances to establish a disc golf permit, and amending Sections 1.08(3)(a) and 1.08(4) of the Madison General Ordinances to create a bond schedule for violations of this permit requirement that is enforceable by the Parks Division
Body
DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance creates a new disc golf permit that would be required of anyone seeking to play disc golf in the City’s designated disc golf courses located in City parks. The permit fee would be established by the Board of Parks Commissioners, and the revenue from the permit would be used to establish new disc golf courses and maintain the current disc golf courses (of which there are only two in existence, one in Elver Park on the west side and one in Hiestand Park on the east side). Dane County already requires a similar permit for use of the disc golf courses located in County parks. Failure to obtain such a permit would be subject to the issuance of a citation by Parks Division staff.
