PREAMBLE
WHEREAS, The City of Madison operates a public parking lot located within the public right-of-way in the 2500 block of University Avenue (formerly known as Eve’s Lot), and,

WHEREAS, in 2011 the City constructed a large storm sewer project through said parking lot disturbing the parking lot surface and adjacent areas, and,

WHEREAS, The City is proposing to reconstruct said parking lot and restore adjacent areas within the public right-of-way.

WHEREAS, The City has entered into a Contract for the Construction of Public Improvements That Will be Accepted by the City of Madison for 2508-2544 University Avenue and 516-518 Highland Avenue PUD, Contract Number 2270, with HUM-WEST, WILSON Limited Partnership, and,

WHEREAS, the Developer of 2508-2544 University Avenue and 516-518 Highland Avenue PUD has agreed to perpetual maintenance of the public parking lot in the 2500 block of University Avenue, which is directly adjacent to their development.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the reconstruction of the University Avenue parking lot are hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Maintenance Agreement for portions of the public right of way ad...
