Title
Approving a Minimum Rate of Wage Scale to be paid by Contractors to the Employees on any Project of Public Works for the City of Madison.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, in accordance with Section 23.01 of the Madison General Ordinances, shall determine the Minimum Rate of Wage Scale in all trades and occupations required in the work involved in all Public Works Projects of the City of Madison, and
WHEREAS, upon approval of the Common Council, not less than such rate of wage scale shall be paid by the Contractor to all employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached minimum rate of wage scale, to be paid by the Contractors to the employees on any project of Public Works for the City of Madison, be and is hereby approved. A schedule of said minimum rate of wage scale is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
