The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

WHEREAS the City of Madison Common Council adopted a Comprehensive Plan as defined in Sec. 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats., on January 17, 2006; and

WHEREAS in order to maintain the Comprehensive Plan Generalized Future Land Use Plan Map as a current expression of community land use objectives, the Plan Commission approved a process and schedule for reviewing and considering limited amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, including recommendations for public participation; and

WHEREAS as part of the 2010-2011 Comprehensive Plan review, the Plan Commission on May 16, 2011, accepted for formal evaluation and consideration a preliminary list of potential amendments to the Generalized Future Land Use Plan Map that were requested by prospective developers or others in order to accommodate a specific proposed development project o...
