PREAMBLE
The City is proposing to reconstruct Mineral Point Road from Pleasant View Road to Tree Lane and Junction Road/S. Junction Road from Isaac Drive to Valley View Road in 2012/2013. Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and awarded the design engineering contract to HNTB Corporation. Approval of the contract is under separate resolution RES-07-00084.
The City of Madison and Dane County are participating in the design and shall cost share the design engineering contract.
The funding split is as follows:
Dane County $275,958
City of Madison $275,958
Total $551,916
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement(s) with Dane County for the design engineering contract with HNTB for Mineral Point Road & South Junction Road.
