Fiscal Note

The Employment Agreement provides for an annual salary of $117,235, plus benefits, effective October, 2011.  The Metro Transit 2011 Adopted operating budget provides for salary expense of $112,795, plus benefits.  The difference between budgeted and actual expense in 2011 will be accommodated within the overall Metro salary budget, and the full salary will be included in future operating budgets.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Charles L. Kamp to the position of Transit General Manager and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Kamp,

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that Mr. Kamp's appointment to the position of Transit General Manager is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Kamp.
