Charter will be extending a underground fiber optic network in the City of Madison in the months of July through September of 2011. This work will be done to extend a fiber optic circuit to Monona Plumbing Inc. 3110 Watford Way. Madison Wisconsin.
There will be a public hearing before the City of Madison Board of Public Works on Wednesday, July 20 20011 at 5:30 p.m. located at Madison Water Utility building 119 E. Olin Ave. Madison Wisconsin.
Contractors hired by Charter Communications will bury the new fiber optic/coax line within the road right of way limits at the following locations:
1. Begging on the south side 1001 Stewart Street Charter will cross underground north 45 feet to the front of 1010 Stewart Street south to north.
2. Then Charter will place 2 inch underground conduit going east along the north side of Stewart Street Aprx: 1200’ feet placing underground vaults as spaced next to power poles to the west side of Perry Street.
3. At this point Charter proposes to place 2 inch conduit north along the west side of Perry Street aprx: 700 feet to power pole , at this point the underground portion is completed.
The fiber optic cable and/or will be directional bored and trenched in the public road right of way.
Restoration of any damage within the limits of the project in the right of way will restored in accordance with the City of Madison standard specifications. All damage done to terrace area will be restored with black dirt and seed.
