Fiscal Note
This resolution allows for the reimbursement of $19,157.72 in insurance proceeds for damages from the sprinkler system activation at Fire Station No. 5.  The remaining $500 deductible will be absorbed within the Fire Department's 2011 Operating Budget. No additional appropriation is required.

Body
Fire Station No.5 sustained damage from activation of the sprinkler system on February 4, 2011. Clean up costs, flooring replacement and equipment service and replacment totaled $19,657.72. Insurance proceeds reimbursed $19,157.72.  The deductible of $500.00 will be covered in the Fire Department budget.
 
 
WHEREAS, Fire Station No. 5 sustained damage from activation of the sprinkler system.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Claim #201102030 filed by the Risk Manager has been approved.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fire Department Capital Budget be amended by the cost of the claim  less the deductible of  $19,157.72 for replacement and repairs of damages at Station No. 5.
 
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that account number CB72-54301-810341 be increased by $19,157.72.
 
BE FINALLY RESOLVED, that $19,157.72 from the insurance fund be transferred to the Fire Department Capital Budget account CB72-79475-810341.
