PREAMBLE

The City of Madison is proposing to under ground the overhead utility lines on Mendota Court from Lake Street to east end.  AT&T, and Charter Communications will under ground their overhead lines and the existing poles will be removed. The City of Madison in accordance with the Policy for Funding the Undergrounding of Overhead Utility Lines (Res-11-00256) will fund the cost to under ground the facilities with 50% of the cost to be covered by others.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with AT&T and Charter Communications for the under grounding of overhead utilities on Mendota Court.
