Budget authority of $27,174.08 is available in Acct No. ES01-58275-810332-00-53W0609 - Sewer W/Reconstructed Streets. Of the $27,174.08, $22,174.08 represents the total cost of the City's contract which will be fully reimbursed by MMSD. The remaining $5,000 is the amount the City will reimburse MMSD for the separate MMSD administered contract.

WHEREAS the City wishes to install 25 L.F. of 12" cured-in-place liner in a City sewer main from MMSD MH02-035 to City SAS #4151-015. This work will be completed by the contractor of the MMSD project and MMSD will pay the contractor for the work. The City will reimburse MMSD for the cost of this lining. The cost of lining will be determined by the price at which the work was bid, plus or minus any changes made during construction. Payment shall be made by the City to MMSD within thirty (30) days of final invoicing to the City by MMSD.
WHEREAS MMSD wishes to replace three manholes within the project limits on University Avenue. These manholes are referenced in MMSD's records as MH02-036, MH02-031, and MH02-030. This work will be completed by the contractor from the City project and the City will pay the contractor for the work. MMSD will reimburse the City for the cost of these manhole replacements. The cost will be determined by the price at which the work was bid, plus or minus any changes made during construction. Payment shall be made by MMSD to the City within thirty (30) days of final invoicing to MMSD by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District to the University Avenue sanitary sewer improvements.
