PREAMBLE

The City of Madison is proposing to under ground the overhead utility lines on North Frances Street from West Dayton Street to West Johnson Street.  MG&E, AT&T and Charter Communications will under ground their overhead lines and the existing poles will be removed. The City of Madison will fund the cost to under ground the facilities.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with MG&E, AT&T and Charter Communications for the under grounding of overhead utilities on North Frances Street.
