Title

Amending RES-25-00219 to grant the necessary authority for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with inter-city bus providers to recover facility maintenance costs.

Body

WHEREAS, on March 25, 2025, in File No. 87402, the Common Council adopted 25-RES-00219 (the “Resolution”), which Resolution purported to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with inter-city bus providers to recover facility maintenance costs; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Resolution only authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to negotiate such agreements, not enter into such agreement on behalf of the City; and,

 

WHEREAS, such an agreement having been negotiated, it is necessary to amend the Resolution to provide the City with sufficient authority to execute such agreements, as originally intended.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that RES-25-00219, File No. 87402, is hereby amended to provide that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute agreements with inter-city bus providers to recover maintenance costs associated with City-maintained inter-city bus facilities, in a format approved by the City Attorney.
