Title
Repealing Section 33.29 of the Madison General Ordinances to eliminate the Madison Election Advisory Committee.
Body
DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  The Madison Elections Advisory Committee (MEAC) rarely meets.  Sometimes an issue will arise during an election year and some meetings will be held.  Most of the work of the MEAC could be done by the City Clerk's office, with referrals to the CCOC or another committee for public input if needed.  This ordinance repeals Sec. 33.29 and thereby eliminates the MEAC.
