Authorizing an amendment to the contract between the City of Madison and Engberg Anderson, Inc. to extend the term of the Original Contact to June 30, 2026 for completion of LEED design services for the Metro Transit Hanson Road Satellite Bus Facility Remodel project. (District 17)
Body
WHEREAS the parties, the City of Madison (“City”) and Engberg Anderson, Inc. (“Architect” or “Contractor”) entered into a contract for the purchase of architectural and engineering design services for the Metro Transit Hanson Rd Satellite Bus Facility Remodel project on August 23, 2022; and,
WHEREAS the project is the continuing development and preparation of architectural and engineering LEED design services for the design and construction of the Metro Transit Hanson Rd Satellite Bus Facility Remodel project located at 3829 and 3901 Hanson Rd; and,
WHEREAS delete the term of the contract originally listed as “from the date of signature by the Mayor to December 31,2025; and,
WHEREAS the amendment is to change the term of the design services contract to “from the date of signature by the Mayor to June 30, 2026; and,
WHEREAS the time extension will allow Engberg Anderson, Inc. to continue with the LEED design review phase of the project to achieve LEED certification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute contract Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 9085 between the City of Madison and Engberg Anderson, Inc. to extend the term of the contract to June 30, 2026.
