Body
DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  These proposed amendments update a number of provisions on the Madison General Ordinances that deal with solar or wind energy systems so that they are consistent with Wis. Stat. § 66.0401 or reflect changes that make the existing provisions more inline with current technologies or practices.  The second item proposed is the one that states the limits on the City's authority to regulated solar and wind energy systems under Wis. Stat. §66.0401, and makes unenforceable all restrictions on solar and/or wind energy systems.
