Approval of amending the Madison Public Library's 2022 Operating Budget by transferring $50,000 of Library's supplies budget to the purchased services budget.

WHEREAS, the Madison Public Library's 2022 Operating Budget for supplies has $100,000 of available budget and purchased services has only $10,000 of available budget; and,
WHEREAS, the Madison Public Library's Lakeview Branch landlord did not bill MPL for the 2020 and 2021 annual taxes until February 2023; and,
WHEREAS, MPL's share of the 2020 tax is $13,470.06, and the 2021 tax is $11,577.98 totaling $25,048.04.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Madison Public Library Board approves amending the Madison Public Library 2022 Operating Budget by transferring $50,000 of Library's supplies budget to the purchased services budget; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Madison Public Library Board amends the 2022 Operating Budget to authorize the transfer between the expenditure categories.
