Authorizing acceptance and appropriation of LSTA Resource Sharing grant funds totaling $4,000.

WHEREAS, Marshfield and Rio libraries are joining the South Central Library System (SCLS) system, and have non-MARC items to be catalogued by Madison Public Library (MPL). SCLS has secured federal LSTA - Resource Sharing grant funds distributed by Wisconsin Department of Public Institution to library systems, and are passing along $4,000 to MPL for the additional cataloguing of the non-MARC items, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Madison Public Library Board is granting authorization to Madison Public Library for acceptance and appropriation of the $4,000 in grant funds; and,
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, the Madison Public Library is authorized to create the necessary 2021 Operating Budget amendments to accept the grant funds.
