Madison Public Library has equipment and staff who create in-house print jobs, rather than outsourcing. Madison Public Library processes print jobs for Madison Public Library Foundation, South Central Library System libraries, Friends of Madison Public Library and internal printing needs.
Madison Public Library has not increased prices for in-house print services since 2015, and that increase was minimal. An extensive analysis of all costs associated with in-house printing was performed and break-even pricing was determined.
