Title: 609 Glenway Street BLDVAR-2020-00043 The property owner is seeking a variance from SPS 321.04(2)(a)1 requiring stairways shall measure at least 36 inches in width and SPS321.04(2)d requiring stairways shall be provided with a minimum headroom clearance of 76 inches measured vertically from a line parallel from the nosing of the treads to the ceiling. The owner has applied for permit to rough frame portions of the basement and is requesting the existing stairway be allowed to remain at 25 inches wide with a minimum headroom of 74 inches.
