Fiscal Note
The Public Health 2017 adopted capital budget includes $765,000 for the Remodel of Office Space (Munis project #17047) funded by GO Borrowing. The proposed resolution authorizes a Purchase of Services (Architect) contract with Continuum Architects + Planners S.C. to provide professional architectural and engineering design services and construction administration services for the design and construction of the Public Health Offices Remodel in the City-County Building for an estimated cost of $90,000. Funding is available in the project.

Continuum Architects + Planners S.C. to provide professional architectural and engineering design services and construction administration services for the design and construction of the Public Health Offices Remodel in the City-County Building.

WHEREAS the 2017 Capital Budget includes funding for architectural and engineering consultant design services; and,
WHEREAS TBD Architects, Inc. Continuum Architects + Planners S.C. has been selected through a “Request for Proposal” process, and is the final selected candidate in accordance with MGO Section 4.26 of Madison General Ordinances and in accordance with Administrative Procedure Memorandum No. 3-3, “Retaining Architects, Professional Engineers, Designers and Land Surveyors for Consultant Service;” and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services (Architect) in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, with TBD Architects, Inc. Continuum Architects + Planners S.C. to provide professional architectural/engineering design services and construction administration services for the Public Health Offices Remodel.
